Tamable wildness
Just a few decades ago it was almost immpossible to come across them in the country. After thousands of years being horseshoed and bridled by human hand, machinery increasingly replaced the horse as a working animal in agriculture and forestry. Recently people, who strive to spend their leisure time with sports and close to nature, have rediscovered the horse as an ideal partner. More and more horses ar becoming the main feature of country day life. We encounter riders upon their steeds on narrow village streets, restricted trails in woods and paths on the edge of fields. Which one of us does not stop to gaze full with fascination at paddocks where horses are grazing or galloping free in a herd? Before boys and girls go for their first ride at stables, they learn more than just how to take care, lead and ride horses. As a result of this proximity and intensive contact with horses they, as how other city dwellers, start to comprehend the silent language of such charming creatures and respect their pride.
