Freedom without limits
There are few phenomenons fascinating us to such an extent as the continuously changing pictures created by clouds.
As the only visuable barrier between the endlesness of the skies and the physical existance of earth they symbolize a floating borderline between our day to day life and our longing for freedom, harmony and places far away. For the ancient Greeks the Gods of the Olymp did not reside far away in the infinity of space. They where close to them in their neighbourhood, dwelling in the flying clouds above their heads. In many cultures fairy tales and mythes tell about good ghosts and elfs living in the clouds and lending their helping hands to men, who proof to be sincere, upright and fair. I children's books of our time fairies and gnomes are found, too, coming from clouds and supporting their tasks. Up to this day the unique beauty of the game played by wind and clouds has never lost its enchantment.
